Room Tax Filings Online 

The Door County Tourism Zone will be hosting  three information sessions to assist permit holders who may have never used their online reporting profile previously.

During the meeting, the Tourism Zone will review where to find your login information, how to change contact information, how to check your old reports, and how to find your sales amounts. If you are not able to attend any of the offered sessions, video instructions will be made available on the Door County Tourism Zone website as well.

If you use marketplace websites like Airbnb or VRBO, make sure you list your permit number on your page. This will allow the Tourism Zone to identify your property and verify that your are permitted.

Any stay occurring in 2022 or beyond must be taxed at 8.0% regardless of when the reservation, deposit, or stay was paid.

All 2022 bookings will have the 8.0% tax rate applied, regardless of what date the booking occurred. If a booking is made in 2021 for a stay that occurs in 2022, the tax rate will be 8.0%. If there is a stay that spans between December 31, 2021 and January 1, 2022, the stay can be split into two different tax rates. However, any booking with a check-in date past January 1^st will only be taxed at 8.0%.
